Maryvale’s Wraparound Services provide intensive mental health support for children and families navigating the child welfare and probation systems. Working across home, school, and community, our teams help children with complex emotional and behavioral needs stay connected to the people and places that matter most. Our primary focus is strengthening family relationships, building on existing strengths, and creating individualized plans that grow with each family’s needs.
Our Wraparound Approach

Services are delivered primarily in the home and community, reducing the need for more restrictive placements.
Who We Serve
Maryvale’s Wraparound Services support:
- Children and youth with significant emotional or behavioral challenges
- Families involved with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS)
- Youth involved with the Department of Probation
- Caregivers seeking coordinated mental health support for their children
Eligibility is determined through referral and program guidelines.

Wraparound Services include a coordinated team of professionals and support such as:
- Intensive, community-based mental health services

- Ongoing monitoring and team collaboration
Each child and family receives a personalized plan tailored to their specific needs and goals.
The Wraparound Team
Each Wraparound team may include:
- A Wraparound facilitator
- Child and family therapist
- Child and family specialist
- Parent partner
- Additional clinical or support providers as needed
Teams work closely with families to ensure care is consistent, responsive, and effective.
How Wraparound Fits Within Maryvale’s Services
Wraparound Services are part of Maryvale’s broader continuum of community-based mental health care. While Wraparound focuses on intensive family-centered support for children with complex needs, substance use and co-occurring treatment services are provided separately through Connections by Maryvale.
