Cristina Ortega

Cristina Ortega is the Director of Membership Development at the San Gabriel Valley Economic Partnership, where she works with businesses, nonprofits, higher education institutions, and community stakeholders to strengthen the region’s workforce and economy. She previously served as Executive Assistant/Office Manager for the Partnership and spent nine years with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.

Cristina is also a UC Master Gardener and passionate advocate for sustainability and healthy living, volunteering with organizations including The Huntington, Pasadena USD schools, and EarthWorks Farm. A first-generation American inspired by her parents’ resilience, she is currently pursuing certification as a therapeutic horticulture practitioner. Cristina lives in Monrovia and proudly serves on Maryvale’s Board of Directors.
