Michael P. Amerio

Mike Amerio is Lucas, Horsfall, Murphy and Pindroh’s Managing Partner. He has more than 20 years of public accounting experience. He provides audit, income tax and business advisory services to privately held companies and individuals in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, insurance brokerage and not¬-for-profit organizations.

These services have been rendered to clients ranging in size from start-ups to middle market businesses. Additionally, Mike has substantial experience with employee benefit plan audits. Mike was elected Treasurer for the City of Sierra Madre in 2017, and reelected in 2020.

Mike is a graduate of San Diego State University, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mike is an active member in various business and civic community activities including volunteering with various youth sports leagues.

Mike is the chairperson of Maryvale’s Finance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee.

He lives in Sierra Madre with his wife, Cynthia, and their three sons.
