Intensive therapeutic care in a compassionate and safe environment
Maryvale’s Residential Treatment Program serves girls, ages 8-18, removed from their homes by the Department of Children and Family Services. Most girls in residence at Maryvale have been profoundly traumatized by prior abuse, abandonment or neglect and suffer from the effects of numerous failed placements in foster care facilities.
This short-term program provides targeted medical, educational and psycho-social assessments for girls and boys (ages 6-12) beginning the process of physical, emotional and mental healing. Ultimately the center will improve long-term care and placement stability by starting the healing process and providing assessment information to help system personnel make appropriate foster placement decisions.
Maryvale's Wraparound Program provides team-driven mental health service alternatives, for children and families involved with the Department of Children and Family Services and the Department of Probation.
