Vice President, Early Childhood Education & Nutrition

Christina joined Maryvale in the role of Vice President, Early Childhood Education in 2012, and in 2015 she took on responsibility over nutrition services for the agency. Christina is responsible for overseeing the vision and compliance for the Early Education Centers, ensuring that staff are trained and have the tools needed to provide high quality early learning experiences for children and families. For more than 25 years Christina has dedicated herself to working in non-profit agencies, implementing programs to serve children and families who otherwise would not have access to high quality services. Christina is passionate and dedicated to serving children, families and teachers, with the goal of empowering them to break the cycle of poverty. She brings a strong leadership style and an unwavering commitment to healthy child development to her role. Her guidance and expertise in all aspects of the educational experience ensures that the Early Education Centers strive for and achieve excellence in all areas of performance.

Christina holds a Master’s Degrees in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Education. Her Bachelor’s Degree is in Behavioral Science, and she is credentialed by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing to Supervise Multiple Child Development Centers, and is certified to provide Triple - P parenting courses to families. Christina is a momma to three children, and has been married since 2006.
