Lisa Rueda, PsyD
Quality Improvement Manager
Dr. Lisa Rueda has worked in the mental health field in various capacities for over 25 years. Prior to coming to Maryvale she was at Junior Blind where she was instrumental in assisting the agency in obtaining a Mental health contract with the Los Angeles County Dept. of Mental Health. She was involved in the implementation of the contract and provided leadership as the director of outpatient mental health services beginning in 2012. Dr. Rueda has taught Psychology courses at California State University, Los Angeles specifically in the areas of research design, counseling theory and development and aging. She came to Maryvale in 2018 with an interest in moving from direct service to quality assurance and improvement. She has assisted the agency in building a strong QI team who work diligently to ensure we are in compliance with contractual requirements as well as maintaining our standing with the Council on Accreditation.
Dr. Rueda has been married to James Rueda for 31 years and has 2 adult sons.
