Marcela Torres
Director, Rosemead Early Education Center
Marcela Torres joined Maryvale in 2015 as a teacher’s aide. Since then, she has worked in the classroom as a teacher’s aide, teacher, and lead teacher. Marcela holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Sociology from the University of Arizona Global Campus and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education Leadership. Additionally, she holds a Site Supervisor permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Through Maryvale’s CCTR and CSPP programs, Marcela is dedicated to ensuring that all children have access to quality care, regardless of any financial challenges their families might face. She is also committed to providing an inclusive learning environment where children with different abilities can learn in the least restrictive setting. Marcela is blessed with two young boys.
