Created a year ago, the choir came about when one of Maryvale's girls who was going through a deep depression asked Sr. Trang if the two of them could start a children's choir to help with her sadness. Sr. Trang sprang into action by quickly assembling the group, to provide much needed music as spiritual healing for the children, where all are welcome to join.
"The more you can sing, and sing loudly, you will become liberated when you can feel an inner freedom," said Sister Trang. "Some of the children finally understood and agreed."
