Recent high school graduate and Maryvale resident Haley has a dream, and it involves helping children less fortunate. “I want to be a social worker,” she said. “When you’ve been through the foster care system, and you know how it works, you’ll be a great social worker. I can give them advice, and they’ll know I’ve been there.”

Girl Scout on a mission

Industrious and kind first-grader, Caitlin, recently visited Maryvale with a super delicious donation:  Girl Scout cookies! Caitlin, with the support of her family and Troop 12135, raised money to purchase boxes of her very favorite Girl Scout cookies (Savannah Smiles, Trefoils, Samoas, Thin Mints and Toffee-tastics!) for Maryvale's children.
